28/5 SAVE THE DATE
I can’t tell you anymore yet but I have an exciting show back in my old stomping ground in South East London on Thursday 28th May so save the date for the preview. :)
OH I DO LIKE TO BE BESIDE THE SEASIDE….
My first show of the year opens this week - a big celebration of art and artists Thurs 12th March - Sun 29th March at BN9 Studio, Marine Workshops, in Newhaven, Sussex. I will be showing this small oil - View from Caravan, one of the first paintings I completed in 2026. It was painted from a photo taken on my first holiday after the Covid pandemic in a static caravan next to Felixstowe port.
POSTCARD COMMISSIONS
If you’re stuck for a personal gift for that special someone (or you just want one for yourself), and have a special place in mind, I am now taking postcard commissions for a limited time.
2026 HERE WE GO
After the frenzy of getting everything ready to open my studio for my scenelet in December, I had a lovely restful Christmas. I spent quite a bit of time in the studio and here’s a sneak peek of some new and in progress work a lot of it inspired by a Finnish adventure last summer.
STU STU STUDIO
I’m very excited to announce a new animation commission screening in the Barbican Estate over the Christmas period and that I have finally, after over 5 years of not having a dedicated workspace, got myself a little studio.
WHY I STOPPED MAKING ART
This is the story of why I stopped making art for years and how I rediscovered my passion. I’m not juggling it perfectly and haven’t given up the day job. Maybe you can relate.
Thrills, Spills & Bellyaches
The last few weeks have been full of thrills, spills and bellyaches and I’ve finally been able to find some time to step back into it and write this. Royal Academy Summer show news and more.
