2026 HERE WE GO

Walk the Line, 2026 by Katie Goodwin, Oil on board, 30x24cm

After the frenzy of getting everything ready to open my studio for my scenelet in December, I had a lovely restful Christmas. I spent quite a bit of time making in the studio and here’s a sneak peek of some new and in progress work. Walk the Line (above) is my first painting completed in 2026 and directly inspired by our Finnish adventure last summer.

Small oil paintings in progress in the studio

Auto Amor/Constantine show
My collaboration with Auto Amor continues. My Friendly Gnomad painting made for their inaugural show is now in a closed to public rolling exhibition at Constantine Fine Arts Logistics and has also been listed for sale on Artsy, the contemporary art sales website.

Art Quest 30/30 challenge
I’m attempting to make a piece of new work everyday for 30 days with 100s of other artists starting 1st February. So basically a art marathon and pretty much impossible with a kid, a dog and another job, but if you’d like to watch how I’m doing and see what other artists are doing. Scroll down to the bottom here to see my first few days entries.

Artist Crit, N19
The Horse’s Mouth - If you’re a London based artist and fancy having your work critiqued or being part of the crit crowd. I am hosting one on the evening of 18th February in the gallery at The Bomb Factory Foundation in Archway. Please contact me directly to register your interest.
