NEWHAVEN OPEN
My first show of the year opens this week - a big celebration of art and artists Thurs 12th March - Sun 29th March at BN9 Studio, Marine Workshops, Newhaven in Sussex. I will be showing this small oil - View from Caravan, one of the first paintings I completed in 2026. It was painted from a photo taken on my first holiday after the Covid pandemic - a cheap and cheerful static caravan holiday next to Felixstowe port.

The opening party of Newhaven Open is on Saturday 14th March 5-8pm. If you fancy coming along do - I’ll be there and dogs are welcome! It’s a few minutes walk from Newhaven train station and parking is behind the railway club.

30 ARTWORKS IN 30 DAYS
I did it! I completed the Artquest 30/30 challenge making and posting a work daily for 30 days straight. I’m not going to say it was easy and a few days I wasn’t happy with the work but there wasn’t time to be picky! I've popped some of my favourite works from the project below. They are mostly drawings straight onto photos or found postcards that I was going to chuck away. I thought I'd give them a bit of love. I hope you like them.
